Summer Camps and schedule

 All American Girl Summer camp                                                                         July 25-27 1:00-3:30, the cost is $60 and will include a snack each day, craft for your doll and All American Girl T-Shirt, with a showcase on the July 27 to share with you the dances we have learned. Invite your friends and neighbors to come join us for a fun new and exciting camp while learning about american history in dance!

All American Girls Summer Camp      July 25-28  9:30-12:00

Come join us for an All American Girls Summer camp.  Bring your favorite Doll and enjoy a summer dance camp that is perfect for any doll loving dancer!  Her camp day will be filled with crafts, games, and dance.  This may be her favorite week of the summer!  Camp will end with a spectacular performance  by the Dancers!!

We will be learning different dance styles popular with girls during different eras of American history!  We will also talk about different things girls liked to do during those eras.  For our craft we will be making costume accessories for our dolls. Snacks and All American Girls Summer Camp T-shirt will be included!

Bring your friends and learn some fun historical dance information while having fun!

Company Audition for the 2016-2017 season

Company Auditions will be held June 9th.  Mandatory audition clinic is June 7 & 8, 5-10 year olds  9:00-10:30.  11-18 year olds 10:30-12:00.

Parent Meeting Tuesday June 7 at 6:00 P.M.

Auditions Thursday June 9th!  5-10 yr olds 9:00-10:30,  11-18 yr olds 11:00-12:30.  Please arrive early to fill out audition forms.  Audition will start promptly at 9:00 and 11:00.

Tuesday May 10th @ The Dance Source

We are having a show rehearsal and finale practice on Tuesday May 10^th, at the studio from 4:00 until 7:30.  You will need to bring all of your dance shoes with your name in them. All of the dancers should wear a leotard and pink tights, if they have black shorts they can wear them.  Also those who are helping back stage and with classes we will need you there so you can help with the show.  No Food will be allowed, (we will have some snacks for the younger girls).  We ask that no parents stay because there will not be room. You will still need to attend your rehearsal and finale practices on May 12, 13 and 14^th at the Ellen Eccles Theater.  If you have signed up to volunteer please talk to Heidi and she will let you know what she needs you to help with.

Thursday May 12^th

Please arrive 15 min early so we can start right on time with everyone there.

Saturday May 14^th 

9:00-1:00 Full Dress rehearsal and finale practice ALL DANCERS (No parents are allowed in the theatre)

1:00-5:30 Tech rehearsal for Kaleidoscope, Impact, Propel, Lip Stick, Ballet, Pre Pointe and Pointe.  

Jazz co 1 & 2 tech rehearsal is from 1:00-1:30

All dancers need to be back to the Ellen Eccles Theatre by 6:00 with Hair and Makeup done

7:00 Spring Concert Start time, All Dancers

During the full dress rehearsal you will need to bring all of your costumes and dance shoes with your name in your costume, shoes and dance bags.  Also those who are helping back stage and with classes we will need you there so you can see what costume and shoes they are to be in and how the show will run.  No food will be allowed, we will have snacks for the little kids.  No parents will be allowed in the theater during rehearsal times.  

If you are in any of the dances scheduled for the Tech Rehearsal from 1:00-5:30 on Saturday, you need to be to the entire practice, we do not have a specific time slot for each dance so it is important you are there the whole time sitting in the theater seats.  

It is important that each dancer is on time for their scheduled rehearsal time, allow yourself an extra 15 minutes before your rehearsal to warm up and stretch.  Arrive 15 minute early in your dance clothes; you do not need to be in your costumes on Thursday and Friday. Saturday bring all your costumes with the dancers name in each one.  All Tap shoes need to have black elastic sewn or glued in your tap shoe, No Ribbons.

The theatre has strict rules and it is very important for us to follow them. No food, candy or drinks allowed in the house, on stage or in the dressing rooms, you may eat in the annex or outside.  Do not run through the theatre, dressing rooms or in the lobby during rehearsal.  The theatre is a beautiful place and we are lucky to be able to hold our spring concert there, let’s show respect and not play around.

Each patron will need a ticket to get in as the seats are reserved seating.  They can be purchased in the Ellen Eccles Box Office (your voucher is not your ticket to the show).  The doors will open at 6:30 and the show will begin at 7:00.  As you are waiting, you need to be respectful of the theatre and the staff.  You will each have a ticket that has your seat number; the ushers will help you locate your seat.  No Children under 2, No infants and No babes in arms are allowed.

We are giving the dancers a professional theatre experience, please be respectful and applaud for all dancers. 

You all look so good: we can’t wait to put everything on the stage.  You look Amazing! Thanks for your hard work this year; it really has been a great year.  We have all loved working with you.  Good Luck at the concert.
