You will start with making a bubble in the front of your hair, it needs to be big so it can be seen but not too big. Then make 3 pony tails down the middle of the head. This is were you will pull the hair back into 3 tight pony tails with no fly aways (use lots of Hair Spray)

Next you will take the top pony tail and section off the hair into small pieces. Twist each hair and then let it loop around and bobby pin it to the head. Repeat this step until the top pony is all looped up and then move onto the middle pony and then the bottom pony. This will create a Faux hawk look. You will then need to spray it down and have your dancer shake her head to make sure everything is bobby pinned in.
The make up will need to be stage make up. You will need to wear base that cover the face and down the neck. You will need a brown eye shadow, black eye liner continue the bottom line out a little bit from the eye (kind of like a cat eye look) this will make the eyes look open and bright. Remember to have no jewelry, nail polish or toe nail polish we will have you take it off before you go out on the floor.
Your first performance is Tuesday February 23. Class will be held at the studio from 4-5:30. you will nee to be to sky view at 6:15 with your hair and makeup done and ready to go! You can come to class with it done or do it after.
