A few last minute reminders Handed out the week of April 19, 2010

We are at the end of our year. I could not be more excited to see all of your hard work in a few weeks. Each one of you has worked so hard and I can’t wait to see you perform at the revue.

The revue is May 1st and the show starts at 6:30. Don’t forget your rehearsal and call times (check thedancesource.blogspot.com for class times). All fees need to be paid to receive costume. Do the High volume of retuned check in the past, I can only accept money order, cashier check or cash this late in the season. In order to insure proper credit please do not pay me during a competitions or rehearsal.

We are having a finale practice on Monday April 26th, in Richmond at North Cache in the old gym (this is the gym that faces the road and above the cafeteria. We will need you there at 6:30 and we will be going until about 7:30. This helps us for our finale practice on May 1st. You will need to be to both practices.

On Monday May 3rd we are having our solo review. Come and watch our amazing soloist. They are all beautiful dancers and this is a special night for them. It will be held at Utah Festival Opera 59 S 100 W Logan Utah. Show starts at 7:00. Come and support our soloist. We will be having Performance 1, 2 and 3 performing and Lapetities. The performing classes and the recreation class will be similar to our 2009-2010 year we are just holding auditions that are open to anyone interesting in joining our performing company ages 7 and up.

Thanks you for letting us work with your children they are so much fun to work with and watch the kids grow. Thank You.

If you are in any of the dances scheduled for the Tech Rehearsal from 3:30-6:00 on Saturday, you need to be to the entire practice, we do not have a specific time slots for each dance so it is important you are there the whole time sitting in the theatre seats. It is important that each dancer is on time for their scheduled rehearsal time, allow yourself an extra 15 minutes before your rehearsal to warm up and stretch if you need. The theatre has strict rules and it is very important for us to follow them. No food, candy or drinks is allowed in the house, on stage or in the dressing rooms, you may eat in the annex or outside only. Do no run through the theatre or the dressing rooms, if you are not rehearsing you should either be sitting in the seats or in the annex, do not go in the dressing rooms or in the lobby during rehearsal. The theatre is a beautiful place and we are lucky to be able to hold are recital in it, let’s show respect and not play around.

We have had some problems in the past with waiting out in the lobby. You will need to wait in the lobby until the theatre doors are opened. As you are waiting, you need to be respectful of the theater and the staff. There are plenty of good seats available to all who want to come and watch the dancers. The doors will open at 6:00 and the show begins at 6:30. Do not crowd the doors in the lobby. They will be opened at 6:00 and not any sooner. There are no saving seats in the Theatre, if there is saving items it will be removed by staff. As you are watching the show, if you have a distracted child take them out into the lobby between dances to get there wiggles out. Be respectful of the dancers and the audience members who have come to enjoy to show, they have not come to be distracted.

You all look so good, we can’t wait to put everything together on stage. You look amazing! Thanks for your hard work this year; it really has been a great year. We have all loved working with you your amazing. Good luck at the recital!
